LeBron James, after making America and the NBA his oyster on Friday, headed for the World Cup, where he reports that he had a pretty stellar experience and managed to do a little video journalism as well.

He posted an Instagram video of a semi-streaker who ran onto the field, filling a void in ESPN’s coverage of the Germany-Argentina final Sunday and providing his own commentary. “Hahaha!! We’re going streaking! Everyone’s doing it. Man that was hilarious. #WorldCupFinal #Brazil”

The streaker, who violated the first law of streaking by being partially clothed, had “natural born prankster” written on his chest and attempted to smooch Benedikt Höwedes before being taken from the field. As for James, he pronounced the World Cup “the greatest sporting event I’ve ever been to.”

After spending most of her career in traditional print sports journalism, Cindy began blogging and tweeting, first as NFL/Redskins editor, and, since August 2010, at The Early Lead. She also is the social media editor for Sports.
