Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade may have gained a whole slew of new fans on Sunday night when he appeared on the Disney Channel show “Austin & Ally” as himself. Instead of basketball dreams, however, Disney Channel Wade dreams of becoming a pop star, just like his favorite singer, Austin Moon, played by actor Ross Lynch.

Here he is auditioning to sing with Austin. It’s pretty hilarious.

It also kind of hurts the ears. Thankfully, though, real-life Wade doesn’t idolize teen idols, so Heat fans don’t have to worry about him leaving the team, like a certain other person once affiliated with the Heat.

So, did Disney Wade attain his goal?

Pfft, like I would ever spoil the end of your new favorite ‘tween series…
