Melky Cabrera shattered a windshield with a massive home run

For those traveling to Boston to catch a game in the Green Monster, you might want to think about taking public transportation. Because it turns out, parking near Fenway Park may lead to smashed windshields, at least if Blue Jays slugger Melky Cabrera is at bat.

The all-star smashed a three-run home run so hard on Monday that it sailed over the top of the bleachers on the back wall and smashed into the windshield of a Honda crossover vehicle parked nearby.

That monster hit was Cabrera’s second home run of the night, helping to clinch a 14-1 win over the Boston Red Sox.

Hopefully the SUV’s owner ended up with the ball. Maybe they can sell it to replace the windshield…
