Miss Universe sat with Yankees’ ‘Bleacher Creatures’

The ‘Bleacher Creatures,’ the infamous group of fans who routinely make life miserable for opposing rightfielders, are generally not known for attracting, well, attractive people to their ranks. Yet there was Gabriela Isler, the reigning Miss Universe, hanging out with the rowdy crew in Section 203 of Yankee Stadium.

But not to worry, Isler brought a posse — Miss USA (Nia Sanchez) and Miss Teen USA (K.Lee Graham).

Of course, the Bleacher Creatures had to trot out their own celebrity, in this case, “Bald” Vinny Milano, the longtime leader of the group’s “roll call” of Yankee players.

Here is video of Bald Vinny in his natural habitat, surrounded, somewhat incongruously, by the ladies.

In fact, this kind of thing is becoming old hat for Bald Vinny, as he posed a couple of years ago with Miss Universe 2011, Leila Lopes, and Miss Teen USA 2011, Danielle Doty.

What’s that you say, how did the game actually turn out? Well, let’s see, looks like the Yankees beat the Tigers, 5-1. Oh, and the Tigers starter was Justin Verlander, who knows a thing or two about a world-renowned beauty sitting in the seats at Yankee Stadium.

He previously had used 'Desmond Bieler' as his byline, but feels that shortening the first name to 'Des' nicely conveys his ever-decreasing gravitas. He also covers Fantasy Football.
