Neymar is having a pretty great week so far… and it’s only Monday! The Brazilian star got the clearance from Barcelona’s medical staff this morning to play in today’s preseason match against the Mexican club Leon. This will be the 22-year-old forward’s first game action since he suffered a fractured vertebra during a World Cup quarterfinal match in July. Via a statement on Barcelona FC’s Web site:

The first team squad trained at the Ciutat Esportiva this morning ahead of the Gamper Trophy at the Camp Nou this evening against Club León. At the end of the session, Club doctors gave Neymar and Xavi Hernandez the medical all clear and both will be available for the game.

On top of that, Neymar is also the star of a new, very cool Nike ad called “Mirrors.” Ever dreamed of century of Neymars all in one place? Behold!

Finally, Neymar is getting kudos for raising awareness for charity by partaking in the #DesafioDoGeloELA, a.k.a the #ALSIceBucketChallenge.

Neymar challenged Brazilian soccer legend Robinho, One Direction star Niall Horan and, interestingly, Colombia’s Juan Camilo Zuniga, the World Cup player whose sloppy challenge caused Neymar’s back injury.

Neymar isn’t the first international soccer star to partake in the Ice Bucket Challenge, however. He was challenged by his Selecao teammate Marcelo who had Cristiano Ronaldo help out in his video.

Speaking of Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar got in on the action, as well, not just to give to charity but also show off his luxury underwear line.
