Australian hockey player celebrates goal by sliding down the ice — on his head

It’s hockey season Down Under, where they celebrate goals a little differently.

Or at least Ric Del Basso does. After scoring the game-winning goal for the Perth Thunder on a shootout Saturday night, he skated across the ice, then added a headstand and somersault while moving up the ice.

We’ll just ignore the “win the game and give yourself a brain injury” commentary and appreciate this moment from the Australian Ice Hockey League.
