New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning hopped on the social media site Reddit today to answer a few questions from the public. Along with more serious questions about what he looks for first when studying the defense (schemes) or what advice he has for aspiring quarterbacks (practice throwing routes), Manning also answered more personal questions, such as favorite ice cream (chocolate chip) and go-to karaoke song (“Footloose”).

But as it tends to go with Reddit “Ask Me Anything” sessions, the stranger the questions, the better the answers. Here are 10 things we learned today about the 33-year-old starter.

Best prank a teammate ever pulled on him: “Jeff Feagles removed all the air out of my tires one year at training camp and left me a bike pump so I could pump up my tires just enough to get to a gas station.”

Manning’s ranking of Giants centers he’s worked with from best to worst smelling: “I’ll say… best smelling center… hehe….let’s start with Shaun O’Hara is the most hygienic, I think. Kevin Boothe coming in second place. Wayne Lucier. And I’d say that Richie Seubert comes in last place.”

Weirdest interaction with a fan: “A guy wanted me to sign my autograph on his arm, which he was immediately going to the tattoo parlor to get it tattooed on his arm. Yes I signed it.
Go Giants!”

‘N Sync or Backstreet Boys? “Oh, ‘N Sync. For sure.” (Emphasis Manning’s.)

Manning’s favorite “Manning Face“: “The ‘excited I just did a touchdown’ one.”

Why the Manning brothers should stick to football: “We’re probably not as competitive now as when we were both teenagers, we had some pretty physical basketball matches back in the day, I guess so much that my dad ended up removing the basketball goal.” (Psst, Eli, it’s called a hoop.)

Biggest rap video fantasy: “I was a big MC Hammer fan back in the day. And I think I could definitely do some of those same dance moves that MC did, but Peyton would not be able to keep up.”

Time travel destination: “I’d go back to Ancient Rome, and watch some gladiator fights.”

Weirdest celebrity man-crush: “I asked K-Fed for a picture one time. That’s the only person I’ve ever asked for a picture, Kevin Federline.”

Biggest “Madden 15” disappointment: “I’m very disappointed they have not included my sandwich-eating touchdown dance [made popular on an “SNL" sketch]. I am very proud of that dance and it took me a long time to master, and I feel that it needs the respect that it deserves.”
