Nebraska’s Jordan Westerkamp had himself a game today. He caught seven passes for 125 yards and a touchdown. Oh, and then there was this grab:

Well, you don’t see that every day. Pretty nifty eye-hand coordination displayed by Westerkamp to track the ball after it was tipped by the Florida Atlantic defender and corral it behind his back, all while making sure he got his feet down in front of the sideline.
Jordan Westerkamp’s behind the back catch was absolutely filthy.

You see there’s Jerry Rice. and then there’s Jordan Westerkamp.

Here is video of the play (after a commercial):
It would appear that Westerkamp has a flair for the dramatic. The second-year player’s only previous touchdown occurred against Northwestern during his freshman season, when he came down with a Hail Mary to steal the game for the Cornhuskers with no time left.
