Chris Christie, the governor of New Jersey, is a big-time fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Always has been, always will be — even if it costs him votes.

And, when the Cowboys play in his home state and in Dallas, he’s seated at the hand of owner Jerry Jones in the luxury suite. So, when the Cowboys scored the go-ahead touchdown against the Detroit Lions in their NFC wild-card game Sunday evening, he was right there, in a bright orange sweater, unable to contain his glee.

When the game was over, there was a joyous bro-hug involving Jones, Christie and another man.

Astute observers note that he was pretty stoked when his home-state team won the Super Bowl a couple of years ago.
