Richard Sherman left no doubt about his availability for Super Bowl XLIX in a little less than two weeks.
Never mind that the Seattle Seahawks cornerback spent much of the second half playing with his left arm clutched uselessly at his side, he said he’ll be ready in spite of what he said was an elbow injury. “I’ll 100 percent be able to play,” Sherman said.
Sherman was injured when he tangled with his teammate, Kam Chancellor, as Chancellor tried to take out James Starks and took out Sherman instead. X-rays of the elbow, according to the NFL Network, were negative.
“I’ll be out there,” he promised.
Hopefully that goes for Media Day, too.
