Here is Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, discussing the play-call that led to Malcolm Butler’s interception — and Seattle’s Super Bowl loss:

“It’s a play that we really tried to keep him from making. I told those guys, that’s my fault totally,” Carroll said, in an NBC postgame interview. “Everybody says, ‘why don’t you just run it?’ That’s a real good thought, but we had plenty of time to win the game.”

Hmmm. Well. Yes, Pete Carroll. I hate to say this — because I know this is really not the best moment — but basically everyone is questioning the call. Like, really … everyone.
