GQ magazine is giving NBA fans a triple dose of basketball style with a trio of March covers that feature Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant, Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love and Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. The issues hit newsstands in New York and L.A. on Tuesday and will be available nationwide on Feb. 24.
All three photo spreads come are accompanied by feature articles. Bryant’s talks about him being the ultimate veteran, while Durant’s delves into his new bad-boy attitude. Love’s is a little less substantive, but it includes at least a couple of lines about the current iteration of the Cavs.
“We were trying to build Rome in a day, and it didn’t work out the way we wanted it to,” Love acknowledges, aware of the LeBron-sized target now affixed to the team. “You have to be a little indifferent to the noise.”
No matter the substance, though, GQ shows the men have style, but how could you not while lounging around in $1,000 sweats?
