Durham Bulls are going all out for Game of Thrones Night

The Durham Bulls are not messing around with their upcoming Game of Thrones Night.

Yes, that is a sigil created specifically for the team, just like the sigils for each family in the “Game of Thrones” books. They even created a motto for House Durham: “Hitteth Bull Winneth Steak.”

Plus, it’s all for a good cause. The game-worn uniforms will be auctioned off afterward, with the proceeds going to the Durham Bulls Youth Athletic League.

“Theirs is made of ice and keeps out the undead. Ours is made of blue-painted wood and keeps balls in play. Close enough,” the Bulls wrote.

This has to be an exciting time for Bulls fan Mur Lafferty, who also happens to be an award-winning science-fiction author. She live-tweets Bulls games using the voice of Sansa Stark, one of the characters in the book/show. It’s peak nerd.

“Game of Thrones” season five premieres April 12.
