Wisconsin is known for its cheese, not its fashion sense, so maybe it’s not a surprise that the Badgers’ newly unveiled Final Four uniforms are less than flattering.

The white stripe on the shorts with the red jersey tucked in makes it look like star Frank Kaminsky has opted to wear a peplum blouse, which perhaps would’ve been in two years ago, but not so much today.

Those who watched the No. 1 seed beat No. 2 seed Arizona, 85-78, in the Elite Eight will recall the previous uniforms were white with a red stripe, which the Internet seems to think were mildly better.

The new red uniforms with the white stripe, however, have come under almost universal disapproval on the Web. In response to ESPN reporter Jeff Goodman’s tweet, dozens of people replied using adjectives such as “fugly,” “awful” and “atrocious” to describe the look.

Okay, okay… So the uniforms are not “fresh to death” or “on fleek” or whatever it is that kids say these days, but at least they’re not superimposed with a giant face of Chris Kamen.

The moral of the story: Things could always be worse/terrifying.

Wisconsin is set to face No. 1 seed Kentucky in on Saturday. Tip off is scheduled for 8:49 p.m. EDT.
