Okay, we already knew that Justin Bieber was pretty much an official member of Floyd Mayweather’s entourage. And we knew that Jimmy Kimmel, on his late-night show, had recently asked Manny Pacquiao if he could be in the Filipino boxer’s entourage.

But that creepy Burger King mascot? What in the name of Michael Buffer was he it doing there?

Pacquiao was first to walk out to the ring before the mega-fight on Saturday, and sure enough, just a couple of steps behind, was the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” host.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, for one, was impressed.

Kimmel was wearing a hat much like the one Bieber wore at an April press conference promoting the fight. He also had on gold chains, perhaps just to complete the cheesy look, or possibly because he suddenly decided to go for more of a Run-DMC look. Kimmel also photo-bombed a selfie that Pacquiao took with his trainer, Freddie Roach, just as they entered the arena.

Bieber, as expected, followed Mayweather out to the ring. Sans hat, though.

But do you see that crown behind Mayweather’s head? That’s the crown of a King.

Wait, the disturbingly impassive Burger King who starred in those intentionally odd commercials a few years ago? Apparently so. What was he doing there? Well, weirding people out, for one thing.

Of course, seeing the King and the Biebs walking out toward the ring essentially side-by-side sparked a “Who’s cheesier?” debate on the Internet. Others were just delight with the whole, ridiculous pre-fight spectacle.
