In news that will surprise nearly no one, because multiple reports Sunday night said it would happen, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry officially was named most valuable player of the NBA on Monday.

In leading the Warriors to a 67-15 regular season record, Curry broke his own NBA record for three-point field goals made in a season, with 286, and led the league in steals (163) and free throw percentage (.914).

And no, your eyes aren’t deceiving you: Curry got one fifth-place vote from Mike Crispino of the MSG Network, whose MVP ballot looked like this: James Harden, Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Marc Gasol and Curry.

Crispino, the radio voice of the New York Knicks, was the lone person to give Gasol a vote.
