The waiting game on Tim Duncan’s status is over, according to Mike Monroe of the San Antonio Express-News:

Duncan, who turned 39 in April, will be back for the 19th season of what is almost certainly going to be a Hall of Fame career for the Spurs, who are in hot pursuit of free agent standout LaMarcus Aldridge. Should the four-time all-star sign with San Antonio, Duncan and the Spurs would instantly be seen as a favorite to win their sixth NBA title together.

Duncan was part of the San Antonio delegation that met with Aldridge.

Duncan averaged 13.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game last season for San Antonio.
