Sometimes when athletes try their hand at music it doesn’t work out so well. Poor Deion Sanders… Other times, though, it’s actually not bad. Luckily for Cavaliers fans, Iman Shumpert’s new anthem falls into the latter category. It’s pretty catchy!

Perhaps Shumpert’s musical abilities shouldn’t come as a surprise. After all, the 25-year-old star does believe the show “Empire” modeled the character Hakeem after him.

Shumpert’s 1 minute, 30 second ditty covers all things Cleveland, giving shout outs to everything and everybody that has anything to do with the team, from the local sideline reporters to the announcers to  Quicken Loans Arena.

And of course, as the name suggests, each player gets his name dropped in the tune, as well, from LeBron James to Timofey Mozgov, who once inspired a rap parody.

So far, so good for Shumpert’s anthem, too. After it was released on Wednesday, the Cavaliers went on to beat the Knicks, 96-86.
