According to Pro-Football-Reference, the line for that 1985 game eventually settled on pick-’em at kickoff. The number for this Thursday’s game could fluctuate, as well: According to SportsInsights.com, the Panthers are getting 77 percent of the spread bets against the Cowboys, who are usually a popular choice among novice gamblers, no matter the situation.

For the record, the Cowboys have been favored in each of their past four Thanksgiving games but failed to cover in all of them (losing two of them straight-up).
