Sydney Leroux announced via Instagram Tuesday that she will miss the Rio Olympics, as she and her husband Dom Dwyer are expecting a child together. According to the post, the child of the two professional soccer players will be due in September.

Leroux has notched 75 caps and 35 international goals in her career and was a member of the United States’ 2015 Women’s World Cup championship squad. Even so, she was still not a shoo-in to nab a roster spot for the Rio Games, as she was held out of play for the majority of 2015 with an ankle injury and played sparingly in the 2015 Women’s World Cup.

She becomes the second U.S. player to be out of play due to pregnancy, as Amy Rodriguez is also currently missing time with her second child on the way. That duo also currently plays together for FC Kansas City.

The United States won the gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics and are favorites to snag a fourth-consecutive title this summer in Brazil.
