The Super Bowl is as good a time as any to remind people about the dangers of drunk driving and, this year, Budweiser has enlisted no less a personage than Dame and Truly Classy Person Helen Mirren to deliver the message to the masses.

“If you drive drunk, you, simply put, are a short-sighted, utterly useless, oxygen-wasting, human form of pollution,” she says elegantly. “A Darwin-award-deserving, selfish coward. If your brain was donated to science, science would return it.”

You’re also a pillock if you drive drunk, which just goes to prove that this year’s Super Bowl is going to increase your word power exponentially.

Budweiser, which traditionally makes Super Bowl viewers sob with heart-tugging Clydesdales videos, also has a 30-second spot called “Not Backing Down” that will feature the famed horses. Budweiser will not, however, release the ad before it is shown during the game Sunday.
