If you want to get players’ attention at Super Bowl Opening Night, previously known as “Media Day,” it helps to stand out. One way to accomplish that is by wearing a tiara and a sash — and by being Miss Universe.

The folks at “Inside Edition” had the bright idea of hiring Pia Wurtzbach, a.k.a. Miss Universe 2015, to work her way through the chaotic scrum of players, reporters and assorted wacky characters at the NFL’s annual media circus. Hey, the Philippines’ representative at the high-profile pageant clearly aced that event’s Q&A session, so why not have her lob some questions at a few very accommodating athletes?

“I know this is the biggest game in America, and now I can see why,’’ Wurtzbach said (via the Associated Press). “I can’t believe I haven’t been here years before. It’s a lot of fun.’’

Not surprisingly, Wurtzbach found herself learning how to dab. But wait, isn’t that a member of the Broncos?

Yup, that was Denver defensive end Kenny Anunike. Everyone knows, though, that Cam Newton’s Panthers are the reigning NFL dab-masters, right?

Ah, that’s better. Of course, Wurtzbach faced some questions of her own, what with that whole Steve Harvey debacle, and all. However, she was more interested in who would be crowned the kings of the NFL come Sunday night.

“Oh, I’m not thinking about that [pageant mix-up] anymore,’’ Wurtzbach said (via the AP). “It’s been over a month already, so we’re here for the Super Bowl and that’s what we want to focus on right now.’’
