Michael Oher is playing in the Super Bowl, which means the Tuohys are in Santa Clara, Calif., as well. You know, the family that took Oher in as a boy and helped him develop as a person and as an offensive tackle, a story chronicled in the 2009 film, “The Blind Side.”

Leigh Anne Tuohy, second from the right in the photo above, was portrayed in the film by Sandra Bullock, who won an Academy Award for best actress. Oher may not have been the best offensive tackle in the NFL this year, but he protected Cam Newton’s blind side well enough to help the Carolina Panthers reach the Super Bowl.

Speaking of Newton, it has become a requirement for Panthers fans everywhere to mimic his dab move, and Tuohy was no exception.

Also familiar to viewers of the film will be “S.J.,” Sean Tuohy Jr., whom Oher protects during a car accident by throwing his arm across the younger boy’s body. Now a young man with a beard, he and his mother were all smiles at Levi’s Stadium Sunday.

Tuohys’ trip to the Super Bowl follows an exciting time at the NFC championship game, which the Panthers won at home. After that contest, Oher was able to celebrate on the field with his family.

Super Bowl Bound with this seasoned veteran!!!Michael Oherr GREAT job babe!! You are my MVP, All-Star, rock star and I’m so so so proud of you!!! Keep grinding! One more game! #KeepPounding #GoPanthers
