It’s that time of year again. You know, when college basketball fans argue about seedings and snubs, fill out brackets — and try to figure out which channel is truTV.

That’s because, for the sixth straight year, truTV will show some NCAA tournament games, including the quartet of play-in games dubbed the “First Four” by the NCAA. The channel, which used to be known as Court TV and has been transitioning away from true-crime and reality programming to lighter fare, is one of three owned by Turner Broadcasting System (the others are TBS and TNT) that will share coverage of the tournament with CBS.

So how do you find truTV? Well, as the channel’s sassy Twitter feed (is there any other kind?) is already reminding everyone online, you can go to www.trutv.com/trutvisathing/ and type in your zip code.

At the same time, we know you didn’t click on this link just to have to click on another one, so, on cable/satellite systems that use the came channels nationwide, here is where to find truTV:

AT&T U-Verse: 164 (standard definition)/1164 (HD)
DISH Network: 242/9430 (HD)
DirecTV: 246
Verizon Fios: 183/683 (HD)

In the D.C. area, Comcast has truTV at 65/841, Cox has it at 79/1079 and it’s at 116/658 on RCN. Now on to the NCAA tournament schedule! (Note: the NCAA has only posted times for the play-in and first-round games so far.)
