WrestleMania 32 got a major dose of attitude Sunday, as three veteran superstars from the “Attitude Era” — “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Mick Foley and Shawn Michaels — joined forces to take down a top WWE tag team. Not surprisingly, the ever-popular Austin got the biggest roar from the crowd of over 100,000 at AT&T Stadium near Dallas.

The trio emerged in response to a challenge from the “League of Nations,” one that members Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Rusev and King Barrett would, of course, regret. Some time-honored finishing moves were put on display, as Michaels broke out his “Sweet Chin Music,” Foley produced “Mr. Socko” and Austin capped it all with a “Stunner” (or, as it turned out, two).

Yup, Stone Cold not only stunned the League of Nations, he also reminded “The New Day” of what a Texas Rattlesnake can do on his home turf. Austin hasn’t wrestled regularly since 2003, but whenever the WWE feels the need to fire up a huge crowd, the company can’t do any better than him.
