John Daly is a fashion hero. There’s no other way to put it. If I could pull off the various magical outfits he puts together, I would in a heartbeat.

In typical Daly fashion, he rocked majestic pineapple trousers during the first round of British Open at Royal Troon in Scotland on Thursday. Though his fashion choice was aces, his first round didn’t go well. Daly shot a four-over-par 75.

But back to the pants. The pineapple trousers, or “Pina Colada” on Loudmouth’s website, are selling for $99.50. There are also women’s cut capris, men’s shorts and women’s skorts available.

During his practice round on Wednesday, Daly sported black trousers patterned with martini, rocks, hurricane and highball glasses.

Fancy trousers and sport jackets are nothing new for the American. Daly was first spotted wearing Loudmouth trousers in 2009 at the Open de Espana at the PGA Golf Catalunya in Girona, Spain. He later signed an endorsement deal with the Sonoma-based company.

Since the inception of the sponsorship, Daly’s been seen in star, sunflower, New York Yankees, money, heck, even Spongebob Squarepants trousers.

For Baltimore Orioles, LSU and Texas A&M fans, there are snazzy pants for you too.

One thing’s for sure, never change, John Daly, never change. I can’t wait to see what he wears next.
