Saturday was team calendar giveaway day at Yankee Stadium. Seeing as how it’s the Yankees, let’s flip to the 10th month of the year to see who they’ve dubbed the “Mr. October” of 2017.

October happens to be Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Chapman happens to be the first MLB player to be suspended under the league’s revamped domestic violence policy, getting a 30-day ban in 2016 after he was accused of choking his girlfriend and firing eight gunshots in the garage of his Florida home in October 2015 (there’s that month again).

And even though Chapman never was charged with a crime, it’s still an undeniably bad look for the Yankees.
