Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Yasiel Puig put up an uncharacteristically poor offensive performance during the team’s 3-1 win over the Houston Astros in Game 1 of the World Series. He went 0 for 3 at the plate, but fans are willing to forgive him not just because everyone has an off night now and again (plus the team still won), but because he was 100 for 100 when it came to team spirit. One need only look at the 26-year-old’s head to see why.

BLUE HAIR! And not just any blue, Dodger blue.  There’s also a red mouth with a tongue hanging out because, why not? It’s a special occasion.

Puig hinted on Monday that something was about to go down with his dome when he posted a selfie on Instagram with his barber friend, who was wearing thick black gloves, the kind you only need for a dye job.

“With my boy for tomorrow’s game @jbfortheladies ready for the first game tomorrow of the World Series,” Puig wrote in English and Spanish.

Puig isn’t the only member of his family to do his ‘do in a shade of blue either. Here’s his 8-month-old son, Daniel, looking similarly fly with his own mini-blue mohawk.

This is My boy smiling when dodgers win 😊😃😀😄😁☺️🤗☺️
