Dartmouth entered Saturday’s game at Harvard having lost 13 straight and 18 of 19 to the Crimson, but at 5-1 on the season, the Big Green probably liked its chances of snapping the skid. Alas, things didn’t go Dartmouth’s way, as Harvard came back from a 14-6 halftime deficit to score a 25-22 win.
And if you want to know what a 13-going-on-14-game losing streak looks like, here’s an example via Harvard’s student radio station:
Dartmouth coach in the booth punched a window and shattered it b/c Harvard recovered a fumbled punt. Security now removing him. Wow.

Per an email from a student affiliated with WHRB, it turns out a fan sitting below the window suffered a laceration to the neck from the broken glass. Police and security arrived at the scene and the Dartmouth coach was escorted from the press box.
In another email, a Harvard parent named David Ryan, who attended the game with his wife and son, detailed that while sitting directly below the press box window, “shards of glass fell on our back from out of nowhere.
“Everyone around us had some piece or pieces of glass on them and nobody could figure out what happened,” Ryan wrote in the email.
