It may have been the smartest $10,000 Eric Bledsoe ever spent.

The Phoenix Suns reportedly are finalizing a deal that will send the disgruntled guard to the Milwaukee Bucks for Greg Monroe and a first-round draft pick, completing a wish that began last month when Bledsoe tweeted, “I don’t wanna be here.” Bledsoe was fined $10,000 for the tweet, General Manager Ryan McDonough told, and had been sent home, with McDonough saying that he “won’t be with us going forward.” Bledsoe unsuccessfully had attempted to explain that he meant he wanted to leave a hair salon.

“He said he was at a hair salon,” McDonough said at the time. “It wasn’t about the Suns or anything related to the Suns. He said he was at a hair salon with his girl and that he didn’t want to be there anymore. So, I don’t believe that to be true. We thought about it and talked about it with [Suns owner Robert Sarver] and my staff and Coach [Jay] Triano and his staff and decided it’s what’s best for the organization. He won’t be with us going forward.”

ESPN first reported that a deal, which has been in the works since Oct. 23, was coming down.
