Say hello to Alex Kam, the Korean pairs figure skater who just won the Winter Olympics, at least as far as the gold medal in being cool is concerned.

The audience cam captured him giving what is probably an intense look behind his Olympic ring sunglasses, which he removed to reveal — wait for it — a pair of aviator sunglasses.

Mind. Blown.

The key, of course, lies in the sincerity of the 22-year-old skater’s sultry delivery. Talk about fire and ice! This is a guy who knows how to sell an image that the Internet is totally buying. A GIF of the moment, tweeted by Southern Sports Nation on Sunday night, has been liked more than 48,000 times and has drawn more than 25,000 retweets.

Kam, who partners with Kyueun Kim, also did a meta dab during the Opening Ceremonies, asking, “At what point does ironic dabbing become not so ironic anymore?”

Who knows? We just know cool when we see it.
