Kirk Cousins had a short stint as Redskins quarterback, but it was clear after his four-interception performance against the Giants on Sept. 25 that fans were ready to move on.
However, no matter what the outcome of the game, one thing was certain: fans were most negative about owner Daniel Snyder week by week. Until now.
For the first time this season, the negative sentiment on Twitter was as high for Coach Jay Gruden as it was for the team’s owner.
@ngreenberg Zero…they shouldn’t have hired him.

@ngreenberg 1. Idk if his straight-shooting, relatable QB whisperer persona comes to fruition w/ this management. Has no track record either

Manish Tripathi, assistant professor in the practice of marketing at Emory University, again provided Twitter data from people located in Washington D.C., Maryland or Virginia. Here are the seven-day moving average periods since Oct. 15, 2014. The low point for Gruden this season among the fan base has been in the days leading up to the game against the Colts through Dec. 2, which is when people started to process the team’s fourth loss in a row. But during that time (period 44 on the chart), Snyder was still perceived more negatively on Twitter. In the final period (period 56) Gruden (burgundy) has 27.9 percent of tweets about him skewing negative, while Snyder (gold) is at 26.7 percent. And that level for Snyder is among the lowest we have seen all season. But all is not lost. There is one segment of Twitter that likes what they have seen from Gruden so far.
@ngreenberg on behalf of all ravens fans, 10!
