Bobby Wagner missed five games of the regular season because of an injury to his toe, but since returning to the lineup, the Seahawks are 8-0 and have allowed the fewest points in the NFL.

Wagner ranked 15th among inside linebackers in run stops (27) despite missing those five games and allowed just 0.69 yards per snap in coverage, which ranked 14th among those linebackers taking at least 25 percent of their team’s snaps.

And he showed his prowess after picking off Tom Brady in the third quarter.

He is like a silent assassin,” Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin said. “He is one of the guys on the field that an offensive player does not want to run into.”
