Harvard’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation announced its “Top 25 Innovations in Government” on Wednesday, naming nine federal programs to the list.

The rankings cover federal, city, state, local and tribal governments.

Four finalists and an eventual winner for the “Innovations in American Government Award” will be chosen from the list and announced in the fall.
