Another woman complained that she was supporting her mother because the VA had cut off the mother’s benefits. “What do we do?” she asked.
“I come out of this session as frustrated perhaps as any meeting I’ve had in the last five years,” Warner said.
Warner said he hears veterans’ complaints frequently while traveling throughout his state.
“It’s almost like since these [scandal] stories came out in June that a vein has opened,” the senator said. He added: “It’s not going to be solved overnight, but it sure as “These veterans deserve better. Our country deserves better.”
