Redskins safeties Madieu Williams and DeJon Gomes both received fines for illegal hits in Sunday’s win over the New Orleans Saints.

The league fined Williams $21,000 for unnecessary roughness after a helmet-to-helmet hit on tight end Jimmy Graham.

Gomes was fined $7,875 for unnecessary roughness after he made a late hit running back Darren Sproles.
