Trent Williams misses another day of practice

Trent Williams Left tackle Trent Williams tests his injured knee during Sunday’s Redskins-Bengals game.

Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said left tackle Trent Williams (knee) did not practice for a second straight day. But Shanahan said Williams hasn’t yet been ruled out for Sunday’s game.

Cornerback Cedric Griffin (hamstring) also did not practice.

Wide receiver Pierre Garcon (foot) was limited, as were safety Brandon Meriweather (knee), Evan Royster (knee ) and receiver Brandon Banks (hip).

Mike Jones covers the Washington Redskins for The Washington Post. When not writing about a Redskins development of some kind – which is rare – he can be found screaming and cheering at one of his kids’ softball, baseball, soccer or basketball games.
