How much difference will getting healthy make for Redskins?

It might not be yesterday’s dose of optimism, which many of you found outlandish, but it was fairly good news when safety Brandon Meriweather, tackle Jammal Brown and wide receivers Pierre Garcon and Santana Moss returned as practices resumed following the bye.

They won’t all play right away, but if Meriweather, Garcon and Moss can go on Sunday against the Eagles, how much difference do you think it’ll make? What about over the course of the rest of the season, and including Brown?

There wasn’t much point in doing a poll on which player would make the most impact if back healthy. While Garcon’s return to health would give Robert Griffin III a top outlet and a downfield thread, Meriweather finally joining a defense allowing 27.6 points per game (27th in the league) and 301.7 passing yards per game (30th) whose return is most anticipated.

What do you think you can reasonably get out of Garcon, Meriweather and Brown, in both their first games back, and the rest of the way? Brown might not even start over Tyler Polumbus, I’d imagine, but there doesn’t seem to be much keeping the other two out of the lineup once they can truly play. And at this point, any contribution would be a helpful one, but having them be the players the Redskins envisioned when they were acquired this offseason would be even better.

Floor’s yours.
