On the heels of his back-to-back wins over the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III was named NFL offensive rookie of the month for November.
It marks the second time this season that Griffin has won the honor, which is decided by the league. Griffin took home rookie of the month honors for September as well. He is the first player since Rams quarterback Sam Bradford in 2010 to win multiple rookie of the month awards in a season. Tampa Bay running back Doug Martin won rookie of the month for October.
In three games this month, Griffin completed 57 of 82 passes for 726 yards and eight touchdowns, and sported a passer rating of 124.3. He also carried the ball 29 times for 166 yards. He has completed 67.4 percent of his passes for 2,497 yard sand 16 touchdowns.
