Redskins running back Alfred Morris earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors following his performance against the Cowboys, the NFL announced Wednesday morning.

Morris had a career day on Sunday, rushing for 200 yards and three touchdowns on 33 carries. In the same game, Morris set the Redskins’ franchise record for rushing yards in a single season with 1,613. He also moved into second on the league’s rushing list this season, behind Minnesota’s Adrian Peterson (2,097).

Morris became the second Redskins player this season to earn NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors, joining Robert Griffin III, who won it twice.

They became the first rookie quarterback-running back tandem to each win Offensive Player of the Week in the same season, according to the NFL.
