Redskins great Joe Jacoby missed the cut for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 15 finalists for the 2013 class, which was announced Friday morning.

Jacoby played tackle for Washington from 1981-1993 as a member of the beloved “Hogs,” earning four Pro Bowl selections, two first-team All-Pro selections and three Super Bowl rings.

Jacoby was among 27 players on this year’s list of semifinalists, which was released in November. Now, his wait must continue.

Wide receiver Andre Reed, who played for Washington in 2000, is a finalist because of his prolific career with Buffalo from 1985-99

Senior nominee Dave Robinson, who played for Green Bay from 1963-72 and Washington from 1973-74, also is a finalist.
