Redskins rookie minicamp roster includes 48 tryout players

The Redskins have 48 players in for tryouts.

The Washington Redskins wrap up their three-day rookie minicamp today. Today is the first day that the camp has been open to the media. Practice runs from 10 a.m. to noon.

The team’s seven draft picks – cornerback David Amerson, tight end Jordan Reed, safety Phillip Thomas, running back Chris Thompson, linebacker Brandon Jacobs, safety Bacarri Rambo and running back Jawan Jamison – are in attendance. The team’s 12 undrafted free agent additions – wide receivers Nick Williams, Skye Dawson, Chip Reeves and Jason Thompson; linebackers Marvin Burdette, William Compton and Jeremy Kimbrough; offensive linemen Jacolby Ashworth, Xavier Nixon, Tevita Stevens and Kyle Wilborn; and tight end Emmanuel Ogbuehi – are as well.

Five first-year players also have been taking part. They are fullback Eric Kettani, linebacker Ricky Elmore, nose tackle Chigbo Anunoby, defensive end Dominique Hamilton and tight end DeAngelo Peterson.
