The Washington Redskins have signed free agent wide receiver Lance Lewis, according to the NFL’s daily transaction report.

The 6-foot, 208-pound Lewis went undrafted out of East Carolina in 2012. He joined the Redskins for training camp, but suffered an injury and reached an injury settlement.

Lewis took part in Washington’s rookie minicamp earlier this month. On Monday, the team waived undrafted free agent Jason Thompson. Lewis now takes his spot on the roster.

Lewis recorded 149 catches for 1,716 yards and 22 touchdowns in two seasons at ECU.
