There isn’t a whole lot in the way of Redskins news of late, but when you consider what is news today, that might be a good thing. Tight end Aaron Hernandez was both arrested by police and released by the Patriots this morning.
The release is all the more eye-opening given that the Patriots, for now, according to salary-cap data at Spotrac.com, eat $10 million in “dead money” to do that they felt was appropriate.
Oregon, the last place new Eagles coach Chip Kelly was employed, is finding out the NCAA’s rulings on recruiting violations this morning. Browns rookie Ausar Walcott, a former University of Virginia player, was charged with attempted murder for punching a man.
Enjoy it while it lasts.
In the comments, feel free to talk about the above or whatever floats your boats, as you normally do.
