“I got a lot of work in today and I felt pretty good,” Cousins said. “I’m going to continue to get better as the week goes on.”
Cousins said he expects to be available if needed in Monday night’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles at FedEx Field.
He missed the final two preseason games after suffering a mid-foot sprain.
Cousins declined to specify Monday whether he’s fully recovered but said: “It’s hard to put a number on it. But I feel really good.”
