Amerson participated in Wednesday’s practice on a limited basis after suffering a concussion during Sunday night’s loss at Dallas.
“I’m gonna participate a lot more today,” Amerson said Thursday in the locker room at Redskins Park.
Amerson is subject to the NFL’s concussion protocol and it is not known if he will be cleared to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears at FedEx Field.
“I really won’t know until after Friday, whatever the doc says,” Amerson said. “But right now everything is looking good.”
Amerson said he is not suffering any lingering concussion symptoms.
“I was knocked out,” he said. “I woke up and of course I was kind of in shock, kind of dazed. I didn’t know what was really going on. But altogether I feel fine. I didn’t feel … after-effects the day after. I feel fine now. So hopefully it continues to stay positive for me.”
