Former Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher will announce Washington’s second-round pick at next week’s NFL Draft.

Fletcher, who late last season announced his intentions to retire this offseason, gets the nod a year after another former linebacker, LaVar Arrington, handled those duties last spring.

Fletcher spent the past seven seasons with the Redskins, ranking among the team and league leader in tackles each year.

The second round of the draft will take place Fri., May 9, beginning at 7 p.m.

Here are the Redskins’ draft picks:

Round 2, pick 2, 34th overall
Round 3, pick 2, 66th overall
Round 4, pick 2, 102nd overall
Round 5, pick 2, 142nd overall
Round 6, pick 2, 178th overall
Round 7, pick 2, 217th overall
