The Redskins have officially signed nine college free agents, according to the NFL’s daily transaction report.

The players all went undrafted in this past week’s college draft, and were free to sign with any team.

The list of players signed by Washington are Tulane nose tackle Chris Davenport, Southern University wide receiver Lee Doss, Brigham Young wide receiver Cody Hoffman, Indiana wide receiver Kofi Hughes, Northwestern wide receiver Rashad Lawrence, Texas El-Paso tight end Kevin Perry, Southern California running back Silas Redd, North Dakota State defensive back Bryan Shepherd and Arkansas nose tackle Robert Thomas.

Davenport (6-4, 330 pounds) last season  earned All-Conference USA honorable mention honors after recording 18 tackles (10 for a loss) and 1.5 sacks as well as two pass breakups. He began his career at LSU.

Doss (6-1, 178) led his team with 65 catches for 698 yards, and ranked second on his team with eight touchdowns.

Hoffman (6-4, 227) had an impressive junior campaign, recording 100 catches for 1,248 yards and 11 touchdowns. He regressed as a senior, recording 57 catches for 894 yards and five touchdowns.

Hughes (6-1, 208) last season recorded 47 catches for 739 yards and seven touchdowns for Indiana.

Lawrence (6-1, 196) as a senior recorded 31 catches for 463 yards and a touchdown.

Perry was used primarily as a blocking tight end, recording five catches for 34 yards and a touchdown last season.

Redd (5-10, 200) is a former Penn State teammate of Redskins running back Evan Royster. He transferred to USC after two seasons. He had his best season in 2012, when he rushed for 905 yards and nine touchdowns on 167 carries.

Shepherd (5-10, 180) recorded 52 tackles and an interception, with three pass breakups for North Dakota State this past season.

Thomas (6-3, 325) recorded 31 tackles and 3.5 sacks for Arkansas last season.

The Redskins also signed the first of their eight draft picks – running back Lache Seastrunk, a sixth-round pick out of Baylor. His contract is a four-year deal worth $2.33 million, including a $110,500 signing bonus.
