The Insider has access to a good bit of outside video, and occasionally it makes sense to share it with you, even if it’s not our original reporting or blogging. This is one of those times.

Sports Illustrated’s Doug Farrar and Chris Burke debate who needs DeSean Jackson more. It doesn’t really matter who needs him more, of course, since the Eagles purposely got rid of him and the Redskins snapped him up, but it is a logical extension of what Mark Bullock wrote about Jackson’s potential impact on Wednesday. Burke and Farrar are also very complimentary of Jordan Matthews, one of the wide receivers drafted by the Eagles after DeSean was ditched. The teams clash in Week 3, so we’ll get some early returns on this topic soon enough. (If you can’t wait, here’s Jackson and LeSean McCoy going at each other in a charity basketball game this past weekend).

And while we’re paying attention to what national NFL observers think about this season’s Washington team, the D.C. Sports Bog rounded that up. Their takes are … interesting.
