With his fumble recovery and the ensuing return for a touchdown in the third quarter of Saturday night’s game between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles, safety DeAngelo Hall added another feather to his cap.

The 12th-year veteran scored the fifth fumble-return touchdown of his career, and in so doing, he became the first player in NFL history to score five touchdowns off of fumble recoveries and five touchdowns off of interceptions returns.

Hall also tied former Atlanta Falcons great Jessie Tuggle for second-most in NFL history with five fumble return touchdowns.

Hall’s fumble return here at Philadelphia was the first for the Redskins in the Eagles’ stadium since Sean Taylor took a fumble recovery to the house to clinch a Wild Card spot for the Redskins in Week 17 of the 2005 season.
